Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has filed a complaint with authorities in London, claiming that her jewelry box, valued at ₹70 lakh, was stolen at Gatwick Airport. The actress had traveled to London to attend the Wimbledon tournament when the alleged theft occurred at the baggage belt area.
Rautela expressed disappointment over the response from airport officials, stating that she did not receive the level of assistance she expected. Sharing details of the incident on social media, she criticized the lack of security at the airport.
“I traveled from Mumbai to London on an Emirates flight. Upon arrival at Gatwick Airport, my luggage was stolen from the baggage belt. This has left me distressed, and I have not received proper support from the authorities,” she said.
Despite possessing the baggage tag and ticket, her bag went missing from the belt area, which Rautela described as a serious security lapse. The actress, known for her roles in Singh Saab The Great and Sanam Re, urged for stricter security measures at airports.
