Responding to the incident on X, Pragya Nagra posted:
“That video is absolutely false. I wish this was just a bad dream. Technology should help us, not destroy our lives. Some malicious individuals have misused AI to create a fabricated video and circulated it on social media. I am trying to move past the storm of thoughts this has triggered. I am forever grateful to those who stood by me during this difficult time. I pray no other girl has to go through what I did. Please stay vigilant about such issues.”
She also tagged the Cyberabad Police, Cyber Dost, and Maharashtra Cyber Police, urging them to take action against the culprits.
