Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has announced that his upcoming film Kaalidhar Laapata, directed by Madhumita, will have a direct digital release on the OTT platform ZEE5. The announcement was made via social media, where the actor also shared the film’s poster, offering a glimpse into the emotional tone of the project.
Sharing the poster, Abhishek wrote, “Sometimes, losing everything is a good thing. That’s where the real story begins. Amidst dreams and twists, we meet people who truly value us.” The film is said to revolve around the lives of orphaned children and is reportedly a remake of the Tamil film Karuppu Durai. The major portion of the film was shot in Bhopal, with Abhishek playing the lead role in what is being described as a poignant and introspective narrative.
