A crazy fan of Samantha built a temple for the Shaakuntalam actress

Building a temple for their favorite actors has been a common trend in the South these days. Many actors like Khushbu, Nayanthara, Hansika Motwani and others have temples named after them by their crazy fans.

Now, the Tollywood beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined this list. According to Pinkvilla, a die-hard fan of the Shaakuntalm actress named Tenali Sandeep built a temple for his favorite actress in Alapadu village near Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. As per the buzz, the temple is currently under construction and will be officially opened on April 28 marking the Yashoda actress’s birthday.

A picture of Samantha’s idol from the temple has already been surfacing on the internet and winning the crazy hearts of the netizens.

On the professional front, as we know the actress was last seen in Gunasekhar mythological starrer Shaakuntalam which emerged as a box office bomb for its poor direction, lagged story and much more.

Samantha is also busy with Shiva Nirvana’s romantic comedy starrer Kushi which she will be seen alongside Vijay Devarakonda. Presented by Mythri Movie Makers, Kushi also has a stellar cast of Jayaram, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Ali and others in vital roles.

The film is currently under filming and will be released in theaters on September 1, 2023. Apart from Kushi, Samantha will also be a part of Raj and DK’s Citadel, the Indian adaption of the American television series under the same title. Samantha and Varun Dhawan are playing lead roles in the series, thus marking the Jaanu actress’s Bollywood debut.
