Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has asked the representatives of the Indian Embassy in Dubai to cooperate in strengthening the industrial ties between AP and UAE. He explained that AP has immense opportunities from Shipbuilding to Data centers. He wanted to support the development of the Telugu community in the UAE.
Chandrababu, who arrived in the UAE as part of his three-day visit, received a warm welcome from the Telugu community there. He has arrived in Dubai to promote investments and extend invitations to the partnership summit to be held in November in Visakhapatnam. He met with representatives of the Indian Embassy in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Chief Minister met with Indian Consul General in Dubai Satish Kumar Sivan and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi Amarnath. They discussed with them the details of various companies in UAE countries including Dubai, the opportunities for investment in AP, and which sectors are suitable for investment.
Chandrababu explained that AP has ample resources and opportunities to attract investments in green energy, technology, quantum computing, petrochemicals, ports, logistics, aviation, industrial parks, real estate, data centers, hospitality sector, and food processing sectors.
He said that Google is investing $15 billion in the largest data AI hub in Visakhapatnam. He said that ports, airports, and harbors are being developed along the 1054-kilometer coastline of AP. He revealed that special plans have been made to develop the logistics sector in AP. CM Chandrababu also discussed with them the opportunities for investment in AP through sovereign funds of UAE countries.
The Chief Minister advised the embassy representatives to explain to companies from various countries, including Dubai, to take advantage of the immense opportunities in various sectors in AP. He said that the opportunities available in AP should be explained to the companies in those countries in the wake of various companies from UAE countries already coming forward to invest in India.
He explained that the state government is giving fast approvals through the Speed of Doing Business policy. The CM said that a partnership conference is being organized in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15 in collaboration with CII and various companies in the UAE are being invited to the conference.
