Chebrolu Sarpanch Ramde Lakshmi Sunitha Got Sarpanch Samvaad Award In Eluru District

Thursday, December 4, 2025

Chebrolu Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Ramde Lakshmi Sunitha of Eluru district has been selected as the district-level Supreme Training Center for creating awareness among the people. She has thus secured first place at the national level in the recently organized Sarpanch Samvad competition.

Under the auspices of the Quality Council of India, the center has launched a Mobile App called Sarpanch Samvad to bring the Sarpanches of the country on a single platform. Through this App, Lakshmi Sunitha has gained good recognition at the national level by regularly posting photos and videos of the development work being done in the village and the solutions she has shown to various problems.

Along with cleanliness and drinking water management, she has created awareness among the people on creating wealth from waste, better sanitation, and plastic use, and has made videos on various topics and included them in the app, securing first place in the country. She received a certificate of appreciation from the Union Panchayat Raj Minister in Delhi.

She contested and won the Sarpanch elections in 2021 with the intention of improving the village and initially campaigned on the harms of plastic use, giving priority to cleanliness. “Since installing the Sarpanch Samvad mobile app, we have been uploading all the development programs taking place in the village. With this, the entire country can see the development taking place in the village”, she said.

“As the development in the village is going well, the Quality Council of India is also organizing monthly competitions. I uploaded a video on cleanliness. It stood first in the entire country. Also, I received an award from the collector as the best village sarpanch,” said Chebrolu Sarpanch Randhe Lakshmi Sunitha.

Each month, a different theme is being chosen to make the village clean. Presently, instead of dumping the garbage in the yard, the garbage is being shifted to the wealth manufacturing centers and organic fertilizers are being made there. They are separating plastic, glass, and e-waste and selling them to generate income for the panchayat.

Sunitha says that she will work hard to lead the village on a path of further development in the future. Thanks to Sunitha’s efforts, Chebrolu village is currently ahead in matters such as cleanliness, waste management, roads, and drains. Sunitha is working towards raising funds to build a major drain, which is much needed for the village.
