Review:

Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda again showcases his versatility through his excellent performance as Varun. The well-developed character by the director provides Siddhu with plenty of scope to exercise his own style and emotional depth. Through his quick wit and youngspersonal charm in the first half to his intense emotional outbursts thereafter, Siddhu excels every moment. With his natural act and natural flow on screen, Varun is made into a believable and interesting character for the audience.

Both leading ladies Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty fit Siddhu like a glove. Raashii calmly plays her part, with a sincere partnership with Siddhu. The script combines poise and emotion to add warmth to the tale. Srinidhi, on the other hand, is subtle but powerful, convincing in the emotions she plays.

Viva Harsha, as Siddhu’s friend, adds some comic relief to an otherwise heavy plot, and he delivers. The light-hearted moments and easy relationship between Siddhu and Harsha provide the film with comic relief and balance.

Although the film’s main theme has gravity, it feels familiar and predictable in parts (especially to regular moviegoers). However, Siddhu’s clear character arc and his strong performance carry the film forward. Some of the supporting subplots could have used better depth and clarity, as they occasionally slow down the overall flow.

Apart from a few emotional high points, the movie falls into a predictable zone at times. The script, while interesting at times, could have been tighter and more effective—especially when it comes to Raashii Khanna’s character, whose emotional terrain needed greater canvassing. The second half borrows shades of other relationship dramas but remains contemporary and relatable in its approach.

Thaman’s music is a tremendous positive, as his emotive melodies and background score add greatly to the drama of the situations seen. The editing is tight, and the dialogues feel authentic and emotional.

Director Neerraja Kona, in her debut, presents a confident effort. Her grasp of emotions and portrayal of relationships with care are notable. Even if the story would have been more impactful with a more engaging script, her direction shows promise and clear vision.

Overall, the film works as an emotionally engaging relationship drama, strengthened by Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s standout performance, strong female leads, and technical finesse.
