Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has called on the alliance leaders to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Srisailam and Kurnool a success together. He held a teleconference with ministers, Nandyal and Kurnool district alliance MPs, MLAs, MLCs and leaders on the Prime Minister’s visit. He said that the state is benefiting from the policies of the double engine government and benefiting a lot with the support of the center with many policies and welfare programs.
CM Chandrababu said that it is a historic decision that an agreement was signed with the company in Delhi on Tuesday to set up a Google AI Data Hub in AP. He recalled that with the arrival of Microsoft in Hyderabad in 1998, an IT ecosystem was formed and the foundation of the knowledge economy was laid.
He said that Prime Minister Modi, Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Ashwani Vaishnav were the initiators in bringing the Google Data Hub to AP, and he praised IT Minister Lokesh for playing a major role in bringing Google. He said that he contacted Google representatives immediately after coming to power and made them come to the state.
The Chief Minister said that Google has come forward with an investment of 15 billion dollars to set up the largest AI data hub, which is the largest foreign direct investment in the country. He deplored that the state has suffered a lot due to the destruction done by the previous rulers rather than the difficulties faced due to division. He accused that many administrative mistakes were made and it took a long time to correct them.
CM Chandrababu said that programs like Yoga Andhra and Amaravati Restart have been successful and called for the Super GST Super Savings program to be successful tomorrow. He revealed that each family will save Rs. 15,000 with the GST 2.0 reforms. He said that a wide campaign has been conducted on the Nex Gen reforms for a month.
CM Chandrababu explained that large-scale industries are being brought to Rayalaseema and that the Seema districts have become centers for horticultural crops. He said that wealth will be created in the state through the connectivity of ports and railways. He lamented that the previous rulers had not spent even Rs. 2,000 crores on irrigation projects in the region.
He made it clear that Rayalaseema would be turned into a tourism destination. He revealed that places like Tirupati, Srisailam, and Gandikota are being developed as tourism destinations and asked to work towards achieving a healthy, wealthy, and happy AP.
