CM Chandrababu invited PM Modi to CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakha, as Chief Guest

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to be the chief guest at the CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15. He also invited him to attend the “Super GST – Super Savings” program to be held in Kurnool on the 16th. Stating that Andhra Pradesh is preparing to play a key role in the progress of the country, he said that AP should be at the forefront of the country’s economic and technological development and for that, their goal is to attract international investments.

In this meeting, which lasted for about 40 minutes on Monday evening, several key issues related to AP were discussed. On this occasion, Chief Minister Chandrababu congratulated the Prime Minister on completing 25 years in public service. Along with CM Chandrababu, Union Ministers Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandsekhar, and TDP Parliamentary Party Leader Lavu Srikrishna Devaraya participated in this meeting.

Earlier, conducting a review on preparations for the CII Partnership Summit at Secretariat, he said that it  should be aimed at increasing the brand image of Andhra Pradesh and at the same time attracting investments.  He asked the officials to invite global leaders and leading CEOs for the summit along with industrialists and policy thinkers.

He said that the summit should focus on global tech transformation, improving global trust and global trade and at the same time more priority should be given to beautify Visakhapatnam for the summit. The CII partnership summit is going to be held in Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time.  Earlier the summits were held in 2016,2017 and 2018 in Visakhapatnam.

“The CII Summit should not only bring in huge investments to the state, but also enhance AP’s brand image at the national and international levels. This platform should lead to new ideas and innovation partnerships,” he said.

The summit will be held focusing on technology, trust, Trade-navigating the geo economic order theme with 13 sessions. Around 29 commerce ministers, 80 foreign CEOs, delegates from forty countries and 13 union ministers will attend the summit. The sessions include Trade, Geo Economic framework, Technology-innovation, defence, aerospace, health care, bio technology, smart manufacturing, logistics supply chain, sustainability, clean energy and leveraging technology.
