South Indian superstar Nayanthara, widely recognized as the “Lady Superstar,” recently celebrated 22 years in the film industry. Renowned for her commanding screen presence and versatility, she has consistently delivered memorable performances across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bollywood cinema. On this milestone, Nayanthara shared an emotional note thanking her fans and mentors for their unwavering support throughout her career.
In her note, the actress wrote, “It has been 22 years since I first stood in front of the camera. At that time, I had no idea films would become my world. Every shot, every frame, and every silence has shaped me, given me courage, and helped me grow. I will always remain grateful to everyone who supported me on this journey.” Nayanthara made her film debut in 2003 with the Malayalam movie Manassinakkare and entered Telugu cinema with Chandramukhi. She has since built an impressive body of work and made her Bollywood debut with Jawan.
Currently, Nayanthara has eight projects underway, including the much-anticipated Telugu film Man Shankara Varaprasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring megastar Chiranjeevi. Scheduled for release next Sankranti, the film is expected to further showcase her acting prowess and cement her legacy as one of South India’s most influential and bankable stars.
