Tollywood actor Rahul Ramakrishna has announced that he is stepping away from activism on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to concentrate entirely on his film career. The decision comes shortly after one of his earlier posts went viral before being deleted.
In a detailed statement, Rahul said that he had realized his limitations in discussing governance and social issues. “Far more intelligent people than me have been fighting against social problems for a long time. What do I really know about governance? I am just a small actor,” he wrote. Rahul added that conversations with experienced political leaders helped him understand that his frustration and disappointment were inevitable.
“Regardless of who runs the system or how it functions, I only wish for the best for the state and its people. It is my responsibility not just to remain a critic but to be part of the system. With the limited skills I have, I will contribute to solving problems in my own way. Until then, I will not share my opinions or thoughts on X. Expect my best performances as an actor. Jai Telangana, Jai Hind,” he concluded.
