Former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao alleged that contractors are afraid to bid for tenders due to the Revanth Reddy government’s percentages. He expressed anger that the project to transfer water from Mallannasagar to Musi was started with Rs. 7,000 crores even though there was no money.
Is there no money to fulfill the guarantees given to pack the packages for Delhi, take commissions from contractors, and send it for the Bihar elections?, he asked. Releasing Congress dues cards in Siddipet, Harish Rao called on the party cadre to distribute Congress dues cards to every household.
He said that Revanth Reddy is turning the state into a Telangana of drunkards by setting up belt shops and micro breweries. The Congress party is giving Rs. 75,000 farmers’ bonds, every woman is owed Rs. 55,000.
He said that there should be a discussion in every house on the Congress party’s frauds and expressed anger that Revanth Reddy, who said that they would give Rs. 15,000 under the farmers’ bond, skipped the entire last monsoon, and gave it to those with three acres in Yasangi and did not give it to the rest.
He said that now there are panchayat elections, he gave Rs. 12,000, but not a single rupee was given to the tenant farmer. He explained that there is a ceiling in the state and no one has more than 54 acres of land and that those with 25 acres are only three percent.
He expressed anger that the pension of Rs. 4,000 has not been given even today. He wondered that Revanth Reddy praised the Tamil Nadu government for providing tiffin to students in the morning, and Harish Rao asked who stopped the breakfast scheme started by KCR after coming to power?
He expressed concern that they would release funds for hostels through the green channel, but there was no provision for even providing food. Harish Rao said that they promised to build a six-lane road for Future City, but the existing roads were not being taken care of.
