The event was set for 1 PM today on September 28 at Green Park Hotel, in Chennai.
The fans were excited and ready for the big title and teaser reveal, but in succession with the plans, the crew made an official announcement that the event had been canceled. The cancellation came after an unfortunate incident on September 27 at the TVK Sabha in Karur, Tamil Nadu. In a statement, the makers said, “Due to an unfortunate stampede at TVK Sabha, the Puri Sethupathi’s title and teaser launch event at Green Park Hotel, Chennai has been canceled. We will announce a new date for the event soon.”
