The upcoming film Jatadhara, featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu in lead roles, is generating significant buzz ahead of its release. Reports have suggested that the film draws inspiration from the mysteries and legends surrounding the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
Clarifying these speculations, director Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal stated that the film is not a documentary based on real events but a fictional story crafted in the fantasy-thriller genre. “The narrative focuses on the hidden secrets around the temple and the clash between devotion, greed, purity, and enmity. Myths about the sixth door, hidden treasures, and various legends create a unique atmosphere for the story,” they explained.
The film also stars Divya Khosla and Shilpa Shirodkar in key roles, portraying intense confrontations between good and evil. With striking visuals, elaborate set designs, and a spiritually charged backdrop, Jatadhara aims to deliver a visually captivating and immersive experience.
Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda under the banner of Studios and presented by Prerna Arora, Jatadhara is scheduled for release on November 7 in Hindi and Telugu. The film is set to offer audiences a unique blend of ancient temple lore, hidden mysteries, and fantasy-driven thrills.
