During the Dussehra festival season, in order to encourage people to travel in their buses, the TGSRTC has decided to organize a lucky draw for those travelling in its buses in the backdrop of the Dussehra festival. In this lucky draw, the company will give away prizes worth Rs. 5.50 lakh to 33 people, three per region.
The company has announced that the first prize for each region is Rs. 25,000, the second prize is Rs. 15,000, and the third prize is Rs. 10,000. To participate in this lucky draw, only those who have travelled in TGSRTC’s high-end buses such as Semi Deluxe, Metro Deluxe, Deluxe, Super Luxury, Lahari Non-AC and all types of AC buses from 27th of this month to October 6th are eligible.
Passengers who board these services will have to write their full name and phone number on the ticket after completing their journey and drop it in the drop boxes set up at the bus station. The company will consider only the journeys made from 27th of this month to October 6th for the lucky draw.
Passengers who have made advance reservations can also participate in this lucky draw. After the lucky draw, the drop boxes will be taken to the respective Regional Manager offices. The officials will conduct a lucky draw in each region and select three winners on October 8th.
The company will felicitate the lucky draw winners with cash prizes. TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar urged passengers to participate in the Dussehra lucky draw in large numbers. He advised them to contact the TSRTC call center numbers 040-69440000, 040-23450033 as well as local depot managers for complete details regarding the lucky draw.
He assured that TGSRTC is taking precautionary measures to ensure that those going to their hometowns for Dussehra do not face any problems and has arranged 7754 special buses for the convenience of passengers. He said that the officials have been instructed to run more special buses depending on the rush of passengers.
