BJP state president N. Ramachandra Rao expressed confidence that no matter how many conspiracies anyone makes, the BJP government will come to power in Telangana. He said that the people are sure to make the BJP win in the local body elections, and suggested that party leaders and activists should work tirelessly.
Speaking at a meeting of office bearers held at the party office on Wednesday, he called on everyone to leave the cities and go to the villages in the wake of the local body elections. Rao made it clear that no one can stop the BJP from winning the Gram Panchayat elections as well as the Jubilee Hills by-elections.
He demanded that the government immediately issue orders to provide 42 percent reservation to BCs in the state. Rao commented that the people of Telangana want change and are waiting for a double engine government. He said on this occasion that the Telangana Bill was passed in Parliament and the state was formed with the support of the BJP.
He accused BRR of being the party that has been submerging Telangana for the last ten years. He said that people who have seen the BRS and Congress governments are getting ready to vote for BJP instead, and he urged party workers and leaders to take advantage of this opportunity.
Rao criticized the Congress and BRS governments for corrupting the education system and the Congress government for being in a situation where Group One posts should be filled. He said that the decision to reduce GST taken by the Central Government is welcomed by all the people of the country, which will benefit all social groups. He criticized that urea is not available to farmers due to the ongoing urea black market in the state.
Meanwhile, BJP State General Secretary Dr. Gautam Rao said that a decision has been taken to organize a cultural program ‘Mera Desh Pahale’ specially designed on the life journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 30th of this month in Hitech City. It was revealed that the program was designed to accommodate approximately 10,000 participants.
