Renowned director Sukumar, who earned nationwide acclaim with Pushpa and its sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, is currently immersed in script work for his upcoming film with actor Ram Charan. Story discussions have reportedly reached their final stage, and the film is expected to go on floors next year. Given their previous blockbuster collaboration on Rangasthalam, expectations are high for this new venture.
Alongside this major project, Sukumar is also planning to produce six new films under his banner Sukumar Writings. The production house, which recently completed a decade, has previously co-produced several successful projects such as Kumari 21F, Uppena, 18 Pages, Virupaksha, Pushpa 2: The Rule, and Gandhi Thatha Chettu. Sukumar reportedly plans to take these six new scripts onto the sets one after another in the near future.
In addition, Sukumar Writings is currently involved in a few ongoing big-ticket projects, including Peddi starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, and another film featuring Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Karthik Dandu. The banner is also set to be part of the upcoming Sukumar–Ram Charan collaboration. However, the casts for the newly approved six projects are yet to be finalized.
