Teja Sajja’s Mirai, produced by People Media Factory, is making a significant impact at the box office with impressive collections. The movie has been performing splendidly since release, with great occupancy day after day. Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s horror-thriller Kishkindhapuri is also emerging in the theaters simultaneously with Mirai. Both films released on the same day, so there was some apprehension regarding how the face-off would impact their respective performances.
But to everyone’s surprise, both the films have received good reviews. Kishkindhapuri opened well on the first day, and its collections picked up sharply on the second day, with some theaters even showing housefull shows. Hope is high that the collections on the second day will be higher than the first one. While Mirai rules the box office, Kishkindhapuri is gradually attracting its own crowd and making its presence felt.
The film has been acknowledged for its thrilling horror elements and suspense brilliantly captured in the thrill sequences as well as its exciting performances from the ensemble. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati and starring Anupama Parameswaran as the lead female character, the film was produced by Sahu Garapati under the banner of Shine Screens.
