Nara Rohit’s 20th film as an actor, Sundarakanda, is set to release tomorrow, August 27, coinciding with the Vinayaka Chavithi festival. The romantic comedy entertainer also marks the directorial debut of Venkatesh Nimmalapudi. With the festive release, audience anticipation for the film has heightened.
In the movie, Nara Rohit plays a middle-aged bachelor, depicting two different love stories from distinct phases of his life in a humorous and engaging manner. Senior actress Sridevi Vijayakumar appears as his first love, while young actress Vruthi Vaghani plays his second. The film’s teaser and promotional material have generated significant excitement. The song “Bahusha Bahusha,” sung by Sid Sriram with music composed by Leon James, has particularly impressed music enthusiasts.
Produced under the Sandeep Picture Palace banner by Santosh Chinnapolla, Gautham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankali, the film also features Naresh, Sathya, Ajay, and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles. The team confirmed that the film received a clean U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification without any cuts, making it suitable for family viewing. Sundarakanda will release across India and in overseas markets, including the United States.
