Tuesday, December 9, 2025
The much-awaited collaboration between director Anil Ravipudi and megastar Chiranjeevi has been officially titled Mana Sankaravaraprasadgaru. The title glimpse release event was recently held in Hyderabad, where the film’s team shared key insights and updates about the project.
When asked whether Chiranjeevi would be repeating his iconic mannerisms from previous films, Anil Ravipudi said that audiences will have to watch the film in theaters to find out. “People will hear comments like, ‘See how rough it looks,’ or ‘The box office will explode,’ once they watch it,” he added.
Ravipudi also touched upon the tradition of his film titles, which often hint at festivals or celebrations. “If possible, I try to maintain this pattern every time,” he said. Regarding Chiranjeevi’s look and costumes, Sushmita Ravipudi mentioned that her father’s dedication inspired the team, and costumes were carefully crafted to suit the actor’s new look.
On the film’s appeal, Ravipudi said, “I’ve tried to make it reach a wide audience. Both class and mass elements will definitely satisfy everyone.” He also shared that seeing Chiranjeevi on the monitor for the first time was an emotional moment, considering he grew up watching Balakrishna, Venkatesh, and Chiranjeevi.
Addressing the technical aspects, Ravipudi confirmed that the film relies on minimal VFX and that all sequences are original. On the title choice, he explained, “I felt it would be nice if the character had the same name as the actor’s original name, so we used it as the film’s title. Chiranjeevi agreed to everything I suggested, which was very satisfying.”
Ravipudi also spoke about the possibility of a multi-starrer with Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna in the future, noting that a suitable story is key since both actors have very different mannerisms. Music director Beems confirmed that all songs in the film are original, and Ravipudi himself appears briefly between sequences involving Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh.
When asked if the film workers’ strike affected the shooting schedule, Ravipudi clarified that no schedule was impacted.
