BRS Working President KT Rama Rao made sensational statements that Telangana has gone back into slavery and has lost its independence and freedom. He participated in the Independence Day celebrations held at Telangana Bhavan and hoisted the national flag. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the youngest state of Telangana has become a role model for the entire India under the BRS rule.
KTR recalled that KCR’s determination to make the farmer the king is the reason why Telangana, which was at 14th position, has surpassed Punjab and Haryana in 10 years and reached the top in grain production. In the past ten years, Telangana has stood like a lighthouse for India in every sector, whether it is IT sector, industries, urban development, rural progress, or welfare programs for the poor, he added.
However, he deplored that during the 20 months of Congress rule KCR’s quest to make farmers the king has gone by the wayside. On Independence Day, he expressed concern that farmers are queuing in long lines for urea with their sandals on. He alleged that Revanth Reddy has brought back the old Congress days. KTR said that Independence does not mean just ruling on our own but living with self-respect.
“We lived with self-respect for ten years under KCR’s leadership. But today, KTR has once again imposed Delhi rule on the people of Telangana. Delhi’s mercenary rule has begun. The dominance of Delhi parties is running in Telangana. The Chief Minister has been up and down for Delhi 51 times”, he said.
Today, KTR deplored that Telangana is in a dire situation where we have to look towards Delhi for every small task and has again fallen into slavery. He said that today it has lagged behind in welfare and agriculture. Stating that IT and industries are moving away, he alleged the reason for that is the Delhi parties BJP and Congress. He gave a call that we must protect the independence we have achieved.
