Telangana BJP chief Rao says 5 BRS MLAs Ready To join BJP, Ex MLA Balaraju joining on 10th

Telangana BJP President Ramchandra Rao has revealed that five BRS MLAs are in touch with him to join the BJP. He said that he will soon tell who those MLAs are and also announce the dates when those MLAs will join the party. He said that they are looking at him because they do not trust the leadership of the BRS party.

However, he said that it is not just five MLAs from that party, but that the number is likely to increase further. He said that former Achampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju will join the BJP on August 10. He met him at his residence on Friday. He made it clear that this is just the beginning of the joining of the BJP.  Rao predicted that the number of people joining the party will increase significantly before the local body elections.

Meanwhile, he opined that the real culprits will come out only if the phone tapping case is handed over to the CBI. He accused that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is not going to the local body elections due to fear of defeat. He lamented that Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi’s comments on the voter list issue as the culmination of his intolerance.

Rao’s announcement of BRS MLAs joining BJP gained prominence at a time when speculation over possible merger of BRS with BJP gained momentum.  An audio related to it has also gone viral on social media. Two former MLAs of the BRS party, Guvvala Balaraju and Abraham, have already said goodbye to the party. It seems that the time has come for both of them to join the BJP.

On the other hand, the BRS party held a 25th anniversary meeting in Warangal on April 14 this year. A few days after the successful meeting, a letter written by his daughter and MLC Kavitha to her father and BRS chief KCR created uproar in the party.

In this letter, she made serious comments that demons have gathered around former CM KCR. She also found fault stating that the party failed to strongly deny speculation over alleged intention of the party merger with BJP.

Moreover, the phone tapping affair that took place during the BRS government and the reports provided by Justice PC Ghosh Commission on the Kaleshwaram project have already become public knowledge about who the real mastermind was. With this, doubts are being expressed among many leaders of the BRS party about the future.
