CM Chandrababu launched `Annadata Sukhibhava’ scheme, 46 lakh farmers to get Rs 20,000 per year

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched the Annadata Sukhibhav scheme, one of the Super Six guarantees in Prakasam district, from East Veerayapalem village in Darsi constituency on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that he is planning to make a businessman for the family. Earlier, he had planned to make software for every family, but now, wherever he goes in the world, there are software grandchildren.

46,85,838 farmers in the state will receive financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 per year under the “Annadata Sukhibhav” scheme. As the first installment, Rs. 7,000 is being deposited in the accounts of the farmers. The state government is providing Rs. 2,342.92 crore and the central government is providing Rs. 831.51 crore for this scheme. Farmers whose names are not in the list of beneficiaries can call the toll-free number 155251 and complain.

He made key remarks that a Ratan Tata Innovation Hub will be set up in Amaravati. Regional centers will be set up in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Anantapur, he said, and everyone will be encouraged. He said that WhatsApp governance has been made available without the need to go to government offices to get any certificate.

Chandrababu said that the reservoirs in the state are overflowing with 1000 TMC of water, and that rivers will be linked to avoid water shortage in the state. He said that the Gundlakamma gates were not repaired in the previous government, and that they have also stored water in addition to setting up Gundlakamma gates. He made it clear that he had started the Velugonda project in 1995-96 and that the government was responsible for completing Velugonda.

The Chief Minister recalled that he had served as the CM for nine years in a united Andhra Pradesh and no one else had that opportunity. He commented that Hyderabad had become the backbone of the country due to the development he had done and that Andhra Pradesh would be developed better than Hyderabad. He reminded that everyone ate rice only after NTR gave a kilo of rice for two rupees.

He said that in the past, BSNL phones were only available in the homes of the wealthy, but now everyone has cell phones. CM Chandrababu said that Andhra Pradesh should be made the address of the number one state in India by 2047.
