Tollywood director Anil Ravipudi has expressed his delight after his film Bhagavanth Kesari, starring Balakrishna, was named Best Telugu Film at the 71st National Film Awards. The jury recently announced the winners, with the film earning national recognition for its impactful storytelling.

I consider this award a bonus and feel truly happy that our work has been recognized nationally. Through a commercial format, we conveyed the concept of ‘Banavo Betiko Sher’ and addressed a sensitive topic like good touch and bad touch with Balakrishna garu’s powerful performance.
