While giants like IBM, TCS, L&T have already joined forces and laid a strong foundation for Amaravati Quantum Valley, recently QPiAI from Bengaluru also came to Amaravati to hold discussions with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and showed interest. If any tech giant does not catch up with the new technology that is coming, if it does not compete, it will go down in history.
Now giants are coming one by one to compete in Quantum Valley after Chandrababu Naidu created a formidable situation to come here. In that order, with the latest visit of State Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh’s team to the Microsoft Experience Center in Singapore, Amaravati Quantum Valley got an opportunity to attract another global competitor.
Minister Lokesh’s team saw surprising things in the AI Ghost Store galleries at the Microsoft Experience Center. From healthcare to manufacturing, from finance to consumer sectors, they witnessed first-hand how AI is revolutionizing the industry. In particular, they closely observed how Azure-based solutions are evolving in the IBM-Microsoft Copilot Zone.
They learned how these innovative technologies can reach businesses, consumers and audiences. They thoroughly understood every aspect – executive briefings, industry solutions, innovation workshops, practical labs.
In a key meeting with Microsoft Government Affairs Head Marcus Loh, CTO Mark Souza and Sela Head Jasmine Begum, Minister Lokesh made interesting proposals. He asked for the establishment of a Microsoft Experience Zone or Technology Station in Andhra Pradesh to find and coordinate solutions based on generative AI.
To fully utilize the potential of Telugu people in physics, mathematics and tech, he suggested organizing a world-class hackathon in 2026 at the Quantum Valley Tech Park in Amaravati on Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot technologies.
He assured that the Andhra Pradesh government would provide all the necessary support and facilities for this. He asked for a partnership with Microsoft for skill transformation of the AP talent pool in cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI and Hybrid Cloud.
