Stating that the Bankacherla project being built by the AP government is detrimental to Telangana’s irrigation sector, former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that it must be stopped at all costs. He suggested that the BRS party ranks be mobilized for field-level struggles.
He deplored that it is wrong for the state government itself to implement administrative policies to protect the interests of Andhra at the expense of the interests of Telangana farmers. He called for a serious denunciation of the Revanth Reddy government’s mischievous attitude, which is bent on doing permanent injustice to the Telangana farmers for the sin of believing in the Congress.
KCR held a long meeting with party leaders at his residence in Erravalli and pointed out the administrative failures of the state government and gave directions on the activities to be taken on behalf of the party at the field level to protect the interests of the people of Telangana. He called on the party ranks to intensify their struggle against the state government that has failed in farmer welfare.
He directed that the movement should be united with the people at the field level for farmer welfare and to prevent agricultural crisis. KCR called on the party ranks to protest the state government’s negligent attitude in the public sphere, which has not provided irrigation water to the farmers even though the Kaleshwaram project has been deliberately planted and the monsoon sowing is over.
KCR demanded that the Godavari water be lifted immediately near the Kannepalli pump house and the pumps should be turned on and the reservoirs, ponds and ponds in the state should be filled.
He expressed his concern that the shortage of urea in the state is seriously affecting the farmers. He lamented the state government’s neglect of the agricultural sector at a time when farmers are sowing paddy is an unforgivable crime and called for a fight with the farmers.
The former Chief Minister complained that development has stalled in the villages and there is a complete lack of sanitation. He said that the people are deeply dissatisfied with Revanth Reddy’s rule. He called for BRS to fight on behalf of the people.
Meanwhile, KCR expressed his anger that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is telling lies everywhere. He warned that the Telangana society is observing that the state CM is eager to protect the interests of Chandrababu in AP and Modi at the Center. He criticized that the Congress and BJP are wasting time by criticizing each other and leaving the problems of the people of the state to the wind.
