Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan on Thursday said that for the first time in his career, he attended a film success meet. The event was held to celebrate the release of his period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Addressing the gathering, Pawan Kalyan said, “This is the first time I’ve attended a success meet in my film career. I’m not used to film promotions. I was delayed due to a cabinet meeting earlier in the day. I apologise for arriving late.”
Referring to his dual responsibilities, he remarked, “This morning, I discussed issues related to the Panchayati Raj department in the cabinet meeting. As the Panchayati Raj Minister, I had to conduct official meetings before attending a film event. Nothing in my life has come easily. My journey has never been a bed of roses.”
Commenting on the challenges surrounding the film’s release, he added, “Many assumed that, as Deputy CM, the film would get an easy release. But I haven’t slept for a week. In the past two days alone, I’ve spoken more than I have in my entire 29-year film career.”
