BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao lamented that his The party believes that the Congress party has been following a deceptive approach from the beginning regarding the 42 percent reservation for BCs.
He also recalled that they have criticized that the Congress’s real goal is to deceive the BCs at all levels, from the caste census to the ordinance being brought by the current government.
On the occasion of the Bonala festival, KTR met with the BC representatives available at the residence of former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday. He discussed extensively in this meeting the treacherous activities being carried out by the Congress party towards the BCs.
BC leaders believe that the Congress party has acted dishonestly in every case regarding the creation of 42 percent reservation in local bodies with the only intention of deceiving the BCs.
They said that even though they knew that the law they brought would not be approved, the Congress government is once again engaging in a new drama in the name of an ordinance. They alleged that the Congress’s malicious intention is clearly visible in reducing the number of BCs from the caste census GO to the enumeration process.
They were furious that the Congress was doing a serious injustice to the BCs by not implementing a single promise made in the name of the BC Declaration. They criticized the Congress party for acting without sincerity from the beginning on the issue of providing reservations to BCs in local bodies.
They accused the Congress party of being aware of the flaws and loopholes in every process they had undertaken, but with the evil intention of deceiving the BCs, they were now preparing to escape in the name of courts and legal provisions.
The leaders were furious that the Congress party, which says that the caste census proposed by the central government should be conducted more scientifically, is not only deceiving the people of Telangana by presenting the caste census survey conducted in a very flawed manner as a national role model, but is also telling lies on national platforms.
On the one hand, while deceiving the BCs on the issue of 42 percent reservations, the BC leaders felt that the Congress would deceive the BCs by not implementing any promise made in the name of the BC Declaration.
Furthermore, KTR stated that the Congress party’s repeated betrayal of the poor and vulnerable sections by canceling the schemes launched by the previous BRS government and not launching new schemes is a clear betrayal of them.
