Jana Sena suspension of key Leader TV Rama Rao Exposes Divisions Among coalition parties At Field Level

The suspension of key leader and former MLA TV Rama Rao from Jana Sena, for making criticism against TDP has exposed divisions among the cadre of coalition parties at field level. It also revealed the absence of coordination leaders of these three parties at constituency level.

In the last year’s assembly elections, TDP, Jana Sena and BJP formed an alliance, contested jointly and won a huge victory. After the elections, the three parties are moving forward in coordination at state level. However, problems are not absent at the field level.

In the same vein, Pawan Kalyan recently suspended a leader who made allegations against TDP and launched public protests. With this, this matter has been creating a political uproar among three parties.

The conflict surfaced after local Jana Sena leader and former MLA TV Rama Rao along with party leaders staged a protest alleging that the Jana Sena party was treated unfairly in the recent recruitment of cooperative societies in the Kovvur constituency.

The protest was held at the Kovvur toll gate. There are 14 societies in the Kovvur constituency. TV Rama Rao, who is in charge of Jana Sena, led the protest with the party ranks and demanded that three of these posts be given to them. However, the party suspended Rama Rao for protesting without consulting the party leadership.

In this context, TV Rama Rao made key comments on social media. He posted an open letter on his X. He said that he had noticed that the Jana Sena party was not getting due respect and importance in Kovvur and that it was painful that they were ignored in the posts of societies and AMCs.

He said that Jana Sena, on the other hand, is committed to unity and follows the principles of alliance. TV Rama Rao asked Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to take appropriate steps keeping this issue in mind. He expressed concern that if the current situation continues, the alliance may have a negative impact on the results of the upcoming panchayat elections.

He urged that the TDP-Jana Sena alliance in Kovvur be strengthened and coordination and cooperation between the two parties be further strengthened. He said that he is waiting for Pawan and Chandrababu’s intervention and guidance in this matter.
