During his visit to Bangarupalem in Chittoor district on Wednesday, as usual YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy violated police restrictions indiscriminately, the YCP ranks created a ruckus in the market yard, ignoring police warnings.
In view of past incidents, the police completely banned rallies and public meetings during his visit. But the party ranks mobilized a large number of people regardless of the police restrictions. They acted according to their wishes, ignoring even the words of the SP.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was supposed to go to Bangarupalyam from the helipad via the Chennai- Bengaluru National Highway under the Nalagampally Bridge, tried to change his route. Instead of taking the permitted route, he tried to enter Bangarupalyam village.
The police noticed him and barricaded his convoy. They said that he was not allowed to enter the village. Jagan, who had come on the national highway, got out of the car and greeted the people. The gathered crowd rushed to the car and tried to shake hands with YS Jagan. Some others showed enthusiasm.
The police dispersed them with a light lathi charge. In this sequence, the party leader Vijayananda Reddy slipped from the convoy. Jagan was repeatedly warned by the police to get into the car, but he continued shaking hands with his fans who did not listen. The SPs of Chittoor and Annamayya districts went to Jagan’s vehicle and told him to sit inside.
Later, the party ranks held a road show till the market yard. On the other hand, the YSRCP leaders showed enthusiasm after seeing Jagan who went to visit the mango farmers after the season ended. They brought mango fruits with a pre-planned plan and poured them on the road. The party ranks created a ruckus by trampling them.
Moreover, due to the large crowd mobilization, activists made a commotion in front of the mango market yard with YSRCP flags. They went inside before Jagan arrived and roamed around the yard. They rushed into the yard without paying attention to the police restrictions. They climbed on the walls and created an embarrassing situation for the farmers.
