After garnering attention in theaters, the highly-promoted Telugu film, 8 Vasantalu, is now making its debut in the OTT space. Directed by Phanindra Narsetti and produced by the well-known banner Mythri Movie Makers, the movie did catch people’s attention with its new-age storyline and enthralling performances.
Featured by MAD fame Ananthika Sanilkumar and Ravi Duggirala and with positive word of mouth from its theatrical run, there will be many more people seeing 8 Vasantalu as it will be available through Netflix from July 11.
The film did not rely on heavy, but amazing, musical score (Hesham Abdul Wahab) had songs that were touching to listeners, and was laced with terrific performances by the likes of Hanu Reddy, Kanna Pasunoori and others created emotional adherence and tangibility with the story.
While the script and story were mostly composed of strong performances, feel-good scenes and heartwarming moments contributed to its success in theaters, so too should 8 Vasantalu replicate its success on an OTT platform. As Netflix anticipates premiering the film, fans of Telugu films are about to engage with this meaningful and exciting slice-of-life drama from the comfort of their own homes.
