Former Minister and BRS MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy has expressed doubts that two ministers from Nalgonda district will have ministerial posts in the coming days. He said that the removal of the district in-charge posts of these two ministers is a proof of their incompetence.
He wondered why ministers are dominating the district review meeting without even allowing MLAs to speak. At the combined Nalgonda district review meeting held on Wednesday, he questioned what democracy is when ministers prevent even MLAs from speaking. He said that no matter which government departments are working in the state, only the police department is working very actively.
He deplored that some public representatives from the district expressed concern that taking routine from the police will reduce the respect of public representatives among the people. Jagadish Reddy alleged that the police were working only to frame illegal cases against BRS leaders and activists. He accused the state ministers of speaking without the slightest understanding of their respective departments.
He criticized the Minister of Irrigation and Civil Supplies Uttam Kumar Reddy for not having the slightest understanding of those departments. He alleged that Congress leaders were trying to corrupt the local body elections by framing illegal cases against BRS leaders. He warned that they were not afraid of the illegal cases being filed by Congress leaders.
Jagadish Reddy alleged that Congress leaders demolished the house of the Chundur Municipal Chairman only for political reasons. He lashed out at Congress leaders for putting up new boards on the works undertaken by the BRS government and boasting that they had completed the works themselves. He alleged that CM Revanth Reddy is handing over the Krishna and Godavari waters to Andhra despite his good governance.
He lamented that during the ten years of BRS rule, there was no shortage of seeds and fertilizers for the farmers in the state, but during Congress rule, the problem of fake seeds and fertilizers has increased again. He criticized the incompetent government that cannot even conduct a minimum review of the problems faced by the farmers.
