Kannappa, the ambitious pan-India film starring Manchu Vishnu and produced by his father Mohan Babu, released in theatres today. In a heartwarming gesture, Vishnu’s brother Manchu Manoj set aside past family differences to watch the film, drawing attention for his support.
After attending a special screening at the IMAX theatre in Hyderabad amidst fans, Manoj spoke to the media and shared his impressions of the film. He lauded the movie and offered special praise for Prabhas’ performance.
“Once Prabhas makes his entry, the film shifts to another level. The last 20 minutes were mind-blowing. I never imagined such powerful performances in the climax. Every actor delivered brilliantly. Prabhas was outstanding, and I honestly didn’t expect my brother (Vishnu) to perform so well either. I truly pray this film becomes a grand success,” Manoj said.
His comments have generated interest not only for the film but also for the apparent reconciliation within the Manchu family.
