Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that positions both in the party and also in the government will be given only to those who stood by the party in difficult times and worked for the party at grassroot level.
“We have already given positions to those who stood by the party in difficult times and worked hard, and they will continue to be given priority in the future,” he said. Making it clear that only those who work continuously for the party will get a suitable position, he said, “We must work to bring the Congress party to power once again”.
“For this, party committees should be formed from the booth level to the village and mandal levels. The leaders in the party committees should work closely with the people at the field level. “You will get posts only if you perform,” he added. Participating in the PCC Political Affairs Committee meeting, he advised Congress leaders and workers to face every challenge in the future with courage and move forward in coordination.
He explained to the party leaders that key developments like the limitation process, implementation of women’s reservation, and holding of simultaneous elections will take place in the future. The meeting mainly discussed the steps to be taken to strengthen the party in the state and to effectively take government programs to the people.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy clarified that the process of filling up the nominated posts in market committees and temple committees will be completed soon. Similarly, he advised the party ranks to prepare for the by-election to be held in the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency from now on. Stating that the party high-command will decide the candidate, he said that whoever may be the candidate the party leaders should take the responsibility of getting the party win in the constituency.
CM Revanth Reddy announced that the currently vacant nominated posts in market committees and temple committees will be filled soon. The Chief Minister, who suggested that the party leaders should set specific goals and move forward, said that he is also ready to visit the villages if necessary. He reiterated that the party and the government will work towards public welfare with full coordination.
