Pawan Kalyan Assures Strong Coalition Unity, Issues Stern Warning To YSRCP

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan promises that the Andhra Pradesh NDA coalition government will serve the state for a long term – they want to serve the people for another 15 to 20 years While speaking at the “One Year Celebrations” event in Amaravati.

“This is not a fleeting partnership. Our coalition is built to last decades,” he said, stressing that he would never allow anything to weaken the alliance.

Looking back at recent years, Pawan sharply criticized the previous YSR Congress Party government, calling their five-year rule destructive. “Since we have worked tirelessly towards real development. Despite obstacles, the public put their faith in us, and in a year, we have already started to rebuild Andhra Pradesh,” he said. In addition, he noted they have repaired over 20,000 kilometers of roads and efforts to restore financial stability under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership.

Addressing concerns about the coalition’s future, Pawan stated firmly, “This alliance will stay strong. I personally will not be the reason for any division.”

He also condemned ongoing violent threats and harsh rhetoric from YSRCP leaders. “Threats such as ‘we’ll slit throats’ have no place in politics — they belong on the silver screen,” he said with a hint of humor, adding, “Even though I come from the film industry, this is serious governance, not entertainment.”

Appealing for respect and peace, Pawan reminded critics that the government’s calm approach comes from strong cultural values, not fear. “We will not tolerate baseless intimidation. The public is watching, and we remain fully committed to upholding law and order.”

He ended with a clear warning: “Our government will act firmly when necessary. Foolishness will be met with decisive action — that is a promise.”
