Guntur police have arrested former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s car driver Ramana Reddy in the case of Singayya’s death after falling under his car. The police have decided to include car driver Ramana Reddy as A1, YS Jagan as A2, and the car owner as A3 in this case.

The incident of a person falling under the car in which YS Jaganmohan Reddy was travelling has become a sensation. 50-year-old Singayya from Vengalayapalem village was near the car in which Jagan was travelling when the incident took place. As the car moved forward, he fell under the car and climbed over Singayya’s neck, it is known from the videos related to it.

The police registered a case under 304A of the IPS on the day Singayya died in the accident. The police were alerted when the camera visuals showed that it was the car in which Jagan was travelling. As part of a tour to Sattenapalli, the driver recklessly continued the car and Singayya fell and died near Etukuru.

The police are also investigating whether the driver drove the car without knowing that the tire in front of the man had fallen or did it intentionally?  The officials have decided to change the sections in the FIR and send a court memo. The police are searching for the people who were present at the time of the incident. The senior officers are also calling the police officers and personnel who were on duty at that time.

Meanwhile, Narasaraopet TDP MP Lavu Sri Krishnadevaraya expressed deep grief over the incident in which a person named Singayya died after Jagan’s convoy vehicle fell. He advised that there should never be a situation where people’s lives are at risk during political rallies and roadshows. He strongly said that rallies and roadshows should be about filling people with hope and reassurance and should not become centers of tragedy.

Srikrishna Devaraya demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Police immediately conduct an investigation into this unfortunate incident and take strict action against those responsible for the negligence. He stressed the need for an independent investigation into the incidents that resulted in the loss of lives. He urged that criminal cases be registered against the convoy vehicles and the event organizers who violated the rules.
