APCC Chief YS Sharmila responding to the statement given by IPS officer Prabhakar Rao in the investigation that the Telangana government led by KCR had tapped her phone in the past, confirmed that the phone tapping was a fact. She revealed that her phone, her husband’s phone, and the phones of those near her were tapped.
Moreover, she revealed that YCP Parliamentary party leader and her family’s close relative YV Subba Reddy himself confirmed that her phone was tapped. She said that she had listened to an audio of him being tapped. Sharmila told the Revanth Reddy government that she would come wherever they told her, for the investigation into the phone tapping issue.
Sharmila said that she was swearing on the Bible that the phone tapping was pure truth. She wanted the investigation into the phone tapping of Revanth and Chandrababu Naidu to be expedited. She deplored that even the blood relationship has become small considering the relationship between Jagan and KCR.
The APCC chief said that the phone tapping was a sketch that the two of them made together to undermine her politically and economically in Telangana. Sharmila alleged that KCR and Jagan used to be friends in the past and that the joint operation they did together was the phone tapping.
She said that it is doubtful whether Subba Reddy, who came to her house at that time and listened to the audio of his taping himself, will admit it now. She recalled that in the past Subba Reddy lied due to pressure from Jaganmohan Reddy about their family assets dispute. She said that she could not reveal the phone tapping earlier in the background of the previous circumstances.
Sharmila expressed concern that they had conspired so that she would not grow financially and politically and did many things to bury her future. She said that the phone tapping conspiracy was part of this. She said that they threatened those who supported her and prevented her from coming our politically and terrorized her followers.
She deplored that they had made it difficult for her to even breathe. She said that Jagan had nothing to do with her starting a party in Telangana, and that he wanted to trample her for KCR. She said that he had made the situation difficult around her. She alleged that she fought for Jagan’s existence, but her every struggle was thwarted. But she said that she had no personal grudges.
