Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy emphasized that the government is able to implement Super Six schemes within a year of its coming to power. He reminded that Rs. 1.04 lakhs were given to each family in the coalition government, as against only Rs 64,000 during Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime. He lamented that investors fled AP during the previous Jagan government.
The Minister said that the skill development is being done for students to strengthen the education system. He made it clear that all-round development of women is possible through the Stree Sakthi scheme. But, he deplored that YCP leaders are behaving in a way that humiliates women.
While most YCP leaders are unable to get bail in the country’s highest court, he said that it is ridiculous their behaviour after a person gets the bial. However, he made it clear that they have not filed any cases and harassed the common people anywhere.
Minister Parthasarathy said that no one in the world has implemented a scheme like `Ammaku Vandanam’ on such a large scale. He said that the scheme was implemented regardless of the number of children. He reminded that the YSRCP had said that it would give Rs. 15,000 to the mother, but it gave it to only one child after saying that it would give it to all the children.
He was furious that the opposition was acting irresponsibly. He criticized that the only opposition party in the country that did not come to the assembly was the YSRCP. He said that the YSRCP leaders said that Minister Nara Lokesh was pocketing Rs. 2,000 in `Ammaku Vandanam’ scheme. But when Lokesh is ready to challenge them in this matter, he said they are running away.
The Minister said that Rs. 34,000 crores were also given as pension in a year. “During the coalition government, we are giving Ammaku Vandanam and fee reimbursement. In our government, we are taking steps to educate children and give them jobs. We are implementing Super Six schemes”, he said.
“We decided to provide 20 lakh jobs during the coalition rule. We will give a good future to children. We will spend Rs 2,000 crore on infrastructure for schools. Companies like Ashok Leyland and Amar Raja have left AP. Our government is paying thousands of crores as interest only for the Rs.10 lakh crore loans taken in the previous Jagan government”, he added.
