The action thriller Ace, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Arumuga Kumar, the film premiered in theatres on May 23 and made its OTT debut within just 20 days. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Prithviraj, and B.S. Avinash in prominent roles.
The film follows the story of Bolt Kaashi (Sethupathi), an ex-convict who moves to Malaysia in search of a new life. With help from Gyananandam (Yogi Babu), he joins Kalpana’s (Divya Pillai) restaurant as a cook and eventually falls in love with Rukku (Rukmini Vasanth). When he gets entangled in gambling to help her, Kaashi ends up in debt to local don Dharma (B.S. Avinash). Forced to repay ₹2 crore, Kaashi resorts to bank robbery, setting off a tense chain of events that form the core of the film.
