Indicating that the government should not be vindictive in registering cases against political opponents, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wondered and asked `As Jagan put me in jail, how can we also put him in jail? That is not right.’ He was responding in the cabinet meeting when minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani asked `Jagan made a mistake, didn’t he? Why shouldn’t we take action’.
The Chief Minister made it clear that “If there is evidence that he has made mistakes, then if the law finds it, we should take action. Ministers should be very careful in such matters”. He deplored that till now, criminals used to run away from the government, but now we have a situation where we have to do politics with criminals. He said that today there is a situation where we commit crimes and then blame the government again.
Chandrababu alleged that the Ganja batch has committed crimes, made mistakes and are blaming the government again. The Chief Minister appreciated that the ministers have done well this year. He advised them that they should work harder and they should review what they have done this year. They should plan for the coming year. Stating that they have done well in welfare programs, but he made it clear whatever they do, they should empower the people.
CM Chandrababu expressed confidence that the Center will help the Polavaram and Banakacharla projects. He said that the Center is responding positively. But if there is a delay, he expressed fear that the cost will increase every year. He said that fund raising is also underway. He said that funds will come from the Center, the State, the Asian Development Bank and the Hybrid Annuity model for Polavaram and Banakacharla.
He revealed that Quantum Valley should be implemented by January 2026. The CM instructed the officials to show the Quantum Valley building designs to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. He said that yoga should be organized with film celebrities in Tirupati on the 15th of this month. The CM said that the Tourism Minister should go and invite the celebrities.
