BJP MLAs Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, Rama Rao Pawar, Paidi Rakesh Reddy and Palvai Harish Rao have accused KCR’s covert TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Gowda of being in the Congress party. They alleged that he is the one who is conspiring against the BJP and its MP Etala Rajender. They made it clear that everyone knows that it is Mahesh Kumar Gowda who is doing covert politics in favor of KCR in the Congress.
They revealed that Mahesh Kumar Gowda from Nizamabad had indirectly supported the then BRS candidate Kavitha in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. They recalled that Madhu Yashki Gowda, who lost as a Congress candidate there, had reportedly complained against Gowda to the Congress high command in this regard.
They alleged that Mahesh Goud was lobbying the party high command to bring Kavitha into the Congress and give her a ministerial post because of his friendship with Kavitha. The BJP MLAs lamented that Kavitha had not only made baseless comments that there was an effort to merge BRS with BJP, but also that Mahesh Kumar Goud was maliciously targeting MP Etala Rajender and BJP as per her suggestion to criticize BJP on that issue. They said that Goud was plotting with his own fabricated stories to damage MP Etala Rajender’s unwavering image as a leader of the Telangana movement.
They expressed anger over TPCC chief’s baseless allegations that BJP MP Etala Rajender met BRS MLA Harish Rao at a farmhouse in Shamirpet and spoke to former CM KCR on the phone from there regarding the Kaleshwaram Project Inquiry Commission. They alleged that he had fabricated the story as part of a conspiracy to tarnish the image of BJP as well as MP Etala Rajender.
They demanded that the evidence related to the meeting in the farmhouse in Shamirpet be revealed within 24 hours. Otherwise, they challenged him to admit that it was all a fabrication and apologize. The BJP MLAs said that Etala Rajender, a BC community leader, worked for the welfare of the people as a progressive, leader of the Telangana movement and minister and earned the respect of all sections. They deplored concern that TPCC Chief, who could not bear to see Etala’s image, was plotting to tarnish his reputation in the same way.
