Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu pitched vigorously for investment and economic growth at the prestigious CII Annual Summit in New Delhi. Speaking as a special guest, Naidu presented a powerful presentation to a full house of leading industrialists, businessmen, and investors, touting his vision-oriented strategy to revamp Andhra Pradesh’s economy.
With utmost clarity of speech and conviction, the Chief Minister presented a bold vision centered on wealth generation and luring big-ticket investments. The Chief Minister underlined that economic success starts with industry and reiterated that industrialists are essential for creating the resources to bring about significant welfare schemes.
Naidu appealed to industry to join hands with Andhra Pradesh, promising them an honest, business-friendly climate supported by stable administration and forward-looking policies. “The obstacles in the path of the investor of the past are now history,” he stated, citing better systems, quicker clearances, and a focus on ease of doing business.
With an abundant talent pool of educated and talented youth, he placed Andhra Pradesh as an emerging powerhouse poised to drive India’s next level of industrial growth. “We have the resources, the talent, and now, the policies to back any size of investment,” he pointed out.
Looking back at the economic transformation of India, Naidu credited the liberalization initiatives initiated under P.V. Narasimha Rao’s time and the revolutionary effect of the IT revolution. He was proud of his role in that period by establishing Cyberabad in Hyderabad, a drive that helped establish India as a global technology hub. “Harnessing the energy of India’s youth is a national imperative—and the private sector has an important part to play in that,” he told attendees.
Part of his development agenda, Naidu revealed a grand plan to have an industrial park in each assembly constituency. He also announced two major projects: the development of a Quantum Valley in Amaravati and the establishment of an ArcelorMittal plant in Visakhapatnam—both to make Andhra Pradesh a hub for future industries.
Renewing his promise to sustainability, Naidu announced that the state is preparing itself to be a green energy hub with proposals aggregating over ₹5 lakh crore already under consideration. His larger agenda, he stated, is to establish a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation where each household has the potential to nurture an entrepreneur.
“Our goal is not just to attract investment but to create inclusive growth—where prosperity is shared, jobs are generated locally, and youth are empowered,” he concluded.
