AP Industries Minister TG Bharath expressed his anger that industrialists were severely insulted during the previous YSRCP regime. He asked why the previous Jaganmohan Reddy government did not give guidelines after giving a textiles policy? He said that the guidelines were given after the coalition government came to power.
Speaking to the media on the occasion of the Mahanadu being held in Kadapa, Minister Bharath said that foreign companies had put AP on the blacklist not to invest in AP shows how the previous YSRCP government ruled. He said that some industrialists had told him that independence came after the coalition government came to power. He revealed that when industrialists from leading companies come to invest in AP, we go to the airport and welcome them.
Bharath recalled that the Economic Development Board was confined to 10 people during the YSRCP regime, but that during the 2014-19 TDP regime, we worked with 60 people. Today, he said about 50 people are working. The Minister said we have achieved investments of Rs. 9.40 lakh crore this year.
If there is a company investing Rs. 1000 crore, the government is moving fast so that it gives permissions quickly and starts work. “We are going to set up MSME parks in 175 constituencies. We have already started at 11. We have laid the foundation for 39 parks. We are working towards achieving 20 lakh jobs. Be patient. We will definitely provide 20 lakh jobs in these five years”, Bharath added.
“If CM Chandrababu is with us, we do not know his value. His value in foreign countries is very high. I recently went to Dubai for the India Today Conclave. Sobha Builders head is not familiar with Chandrababu Naidu. I have not seen him or met him. On one occasion, the head of Shobha Builders donated Rs. 100 crore to AP. He said that you have a leader like Chandrababu Naidu”, he said. He said the Chief Minister always focuses on speed of doing business.
