The heart of Rayalaseema, Kadapa turned yellow to organize the three-day annual conference of Telugu Desam Party, which will provide a grand platform for the party activists for many historic decisions. On the first day, 27, the party council meeting will focus on organizational structure, future activities, along with the basic principles of TDP, the introduction of 6 principles proposed by Minister Nara Lokesh, and amendments to the party rules will be held.
Also, a notification will be given for the election of the party’s national president. The yellow festival will begin with the registration of delegates at 8.30 am on Tuesday. Later, a photo exhibition and blood donation camps will be started. At 10.45 am, the party’s national president, politburo members and other key leaders will reach the stage.
The party flag will be unfurled, the lamp will be lit, and floral tributes will be paid to the statue of the party’s founding president Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The Mahanadu will begin formally with the singing of the song ‘Maa Telugu Talliki..’. After that, condolences will be paid to the activists and leaders who died while working for the party. Then the General Secretary will present the report. At 11.30 am, State President Palla Srinivasa Rao will deliver the welcome address. The Treasurer will present the party’s financial report.
At 11.50 am, the party’s national president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will deliver the inaugural address. Later, the TDP’s basic principles will be discussed. The main topics discussed will be the achievement of Swarnandhra, party organization, the introduction of the 6 principles formulated by the party’s national general secretary Lokesh in line with the changing times, and amendments to the party’s rules and regulations.
Several key issues will be discussed, including the decision to send those who have held the same position for three terms to a higher position at the mandal level. After the lunch break, the first of the six principles, ‘Karyakarte Adhinetha’, and the second, ‘Yuvagalam’, will be discussed. The My TDP app and the programs to be undertaken for the welfare of the activists will also be discussed.
On the second day, Wednesday, along with the representatives’ meeting, a grand tribute will be paid to party founder NTR on his 102nd birth anniversary. Later, the third of the six principles, ‘Telugu nation – world fame’, the fourth ‘women’s power’, the fifth ‘social justice – progress of the poor’, and the last ‘support for food providers’ will be discussed and resolutions will be passed.
At 5.30 pm, the election of the party’s national president, oath-taking and the president’s speech will be held. On the third day, a huge public meeting will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm with 5 lakh people.
