After waiting for more than a year, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is said to be able to get a green signal from the Congress high-command to reshuffle his cabinet. During his Delhi visit, he had met Venugopal on Sunday and Monday. Party sources indicate that he is likely to withdraw two ministers from his cabinet and induct five new faces. The expansion is likely to take place on the 30th or 31st of this month. At the same time, the composition of the TPCC executive committee has been decided. In Delhi, CM Revanth had a long meeting with party leader KC Venugopal and the PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud. A decision has been reached.
Revanth Reddy is likely to meet Rahul Gandhi for a final discussion on Monday. The final list of cabinet reshuffle and also TPCC Executive need to be given a formal consent by both party chief Mallikharjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
It is learned that four working presidents will be appointed for the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), balancing both case considerations and also regional representation. It seems that a decision was made to provide a place for five new people in the cabinet during a meeting with KC Venugopal. The Congress party, which is giving priority to caste census and BC reservations, has also decided to follow social justice in the expansion of the cabinet.
