The Miss World Organization has issued an official statement addressing the withdrawal of Miss England 2025, Millie-Margot Maggie, from the ongoing 72nd Miss World pageant in India. In the statement, Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of Miss World, clarified that Maggie withdrew from the competition earlier this month citing a family emergency involving the health of her mother and other relatives. The organization acknowledged her request and arranged for her immediate return to England, placing the well-being of her family as the top priority.
Following Maggie’s departure, first runner-up Charlotte Grant was selected to represent England. She arrived in India on Wednesday and was officially allowed to participate in the competition.
