As the excitement builds ahead of NTR’s birthday, fans have a massive reason to celebrate. The highly-awaited teaser of War 2, starring NTR and Hrithik Roshan, is officially releasing on Tuesday. But those eagerly anticipating a look into NTR’s movie with director Prashanth Neel will have to wait a little bit longer.
The makers of the NTR-Neel project — speculated to be titled Dragon — have made a conscious decision to postpone their planned teaser release. Initially slated for May 20, the special “mass missile” glimpse has been deferred to ensure War 2 receives the full spotlight during NTR’s birthday celebrations.
Taking to social media, the production team shared a heartfelt message with fans:
“Dear fans,
We know how excited you are to celebrate the man who’s given us countless reasons to cheer…
With the #War2 content releasing, we felt it’s best to let it shine and save the #NTRNeel MASS MISSILE Glimpse for another time.
This year, we’re dedicating @Tarak9999’s birthday celebrations to #War2.”
While War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is gearing up for a grand release on August 14, 2025, the NTR-Prashanth Neel film is currently progressing on sets under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. More updates about this high-octane action thriller are expected soon.
For now, all eyes are on War 2, which promises to showcase NTR in a powerful avatar alongside Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.
