Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has pledged to develop the Kaleshwaram temple into a significant spiritual tourism destination. Speaking at the Saraswati Pushkaralu Harathi ceremony held at the temple, the CM, accompanied by ministers Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Konda Surekha, and senior officials, outlined plans for the temple’s enhancement.
The Chief Minister stated that the government is prepared to allocate up to ₹200 crore for the temple’s development and directed officials to draft comprehensive plans to implement the vision. He praised the administrative efforts in arranging all necessary facilities for the devotees participating in the Saraswati Pushkaralu.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, a tent city has been established to accommodate devotees traveling from distant regions. CM Revanth Reddy also announced upcoming preparations for the Godavari and Krishna Pushkaralu festivals, assuring that devotees from across the country will be welcomed at Kaleshwaram. “It is my honor to organize these festivals on a grand scale, ensuring the spiritual fervor reaches every corner of the nation,” he added.
