Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Industries Nara Lokesh is going full throttle towards his commitment to industrial growth and youth jobs, a commitment he had promised during the Yuvagalam Padayatra. True to his promise, Lokesh has stepped up measures to create employment in both the public and private sectors.

Following the issuance of highly anticipated DSC notification for government recruitment, Lokesh also brought positive news for the education community with a salary raise for guest lecturers, winning extensive praise from teachers.

Meanwhile, the minister is working hard to enhance industrial development throughout the state. During a recent high-level review meeting with IT, Electronics, and RTGS officials, Lokesh instructed the administration to expedite approvals for firms willing to establish operations in Andhra Pradesh. He announced that 91 big companies are ready to invest a whopping ₹91,839 crore, which will generate more jobs.

To make the process run more smoothly, Lokesh suggested having a specific nodal officer for large companies, to make clearances seamless and enable industries to begin work without any delays.

Rededication of the government’s vision in the long term, Lokesh stated that Andhra Pradesh is targeting creation of 5 lakh jobs in the IT and electronics sector within the next five years. He also reiterated building up Visakhapatnam as a full-fledged IT destination and sought clearance of pending incentives to the IT firms at the earliest.

With concerted efforts and active governance, Nara Lokesh is building a solid foundation for job creation and economic change in Andhra Pradesh, converting his commitments into tangible achievements.
