Saraswati Pushkaras will be held for 12 days from 15th to 26th of this month at Kaleshwara Kshetra, a famous Shaiva temple in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, from this month. The state government is making all arrangements for these Pushkara Mahotsavam. The Godavari River and the Pranahita River will meet at Kaleshwaram. The Saraswati River joins it as an inner channel.
Therefore, this area is considered a holy confluence. As a large number of devotees are expected to come from Telugu states as well as from Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and other states, all arrangements are being made to avoid any problems.
Endowment Minister Konda Surekha, IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Endowment Department officials and the district administration are regularly reviewing the arrangements for the Pushkara work, inspecting the work and taking steps to complete the arrangements as soon as possible. For the convenience of devotees coming to Pushkaram, the state government has specially made a mobile app available.

For the convenience of devotees coming to Pushkaram, works have been undertaken with a fund of Rs. 25 crore. A new Saraswati Ghat has been constructed and a new 20-foot statue of Saraswati Mata has been installed at the Ghat.
A new arch is being constructed at the general Ghat. The entire front of the Kaleshwara main temple has been constructed with CC. Special toilets and changing rooms have been constructed. Chilling pavilions have been set up. Roads have been constructed from the bus stand to Triveni Sangamam. Electricity facilities are being arranged in the area where devotees roam.
The works are being carried out under the auspices of Panchayat Raj, Irrigation and RWS. On the occasion of Saraswati Pushkaram at Kaleshwara Muktishwara Kshetra, various priests will participate and perform special pujas. Yagas will be performed for 12 days and for the first time, aartis will be performed in the river.
On the 15th, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will participate in the aarti, visit the temple and inaugurate the new Saraswati Mata idol. A large number of devotees will take a bath in the Pushkara for 12 days.
